I have the same problem with a desktop pc and the Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000. The wizard says that the connection is successfully completed, but the mouse is not working. The mouse remains in pairing mode, while the BT wizard states that the connection is done.
Please note that it works perfectly with Ubuntu 8.10. This is the syslog after having removed the connection and tried again to pair the mouse: Apr 15 19:30:54 immobile bluetoothd[2955]: Unregistered interface org.bluez.Input on path /org/bluez/2955/hci0/dev_00_12_5A_69_F9_B4 Apr 15 19:30:59 immobile bluetoothd[2955]: Discovery session 0x7f36527b2940 with :1.61 activated Apr 15 19:31:06 immobile bluetoothd[2955]: Registered interface org.bluez.Input on path /org/bluez/2955/hci0/dev_00_12_5A_69_F9_B4 Apr 15 19:31:07 immobile bluetoothd[2955]: Connection refused (111) -- Bluetooth Device Wizard fails to pair with Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/359398 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
