Howzit from Hawaii! I'm an ubuntu & mythtv newbie, so be gentle... I have a similar problem looking through the mythfrontend.log, but I don't see the "segmentation fault" message. The frontend just quits. It had been working a few iterations earlier... (the same day).
I'd really like to see this project work. IMHO, it seems like myth (frontend) has been unstable since the inception of the dynamic X11 stuff. It wouldn't even work until I ran 7.10 just to copy off xorg.conf into my jaunty system (xubuntu), and add the Option "dri" "off" to accommodate my ati radeon mobility 7500 in my Compaq N610c.
