** Description changed: I have installed the RC of Jaunty Netbook Remix on my Acer Aspire One 150 netbook. The Atheros wireless chipset is recognized automatically, - but is turned off. The only way to turn it on, is by doing this: + but is disabled. The only way to enable it, is by doing this: gksudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist Then add the following line in that empty text file: + blacklist acer_wmi - Save and close the file. Then do a full reboot. Now wifi works. + Save and close the text file. Then do a full reboot of the computer. Now + wifi works. - Apparently a kernel bug.
