Steps to reproduce a situation for which this bug is still problematic: 1. add "cpufreq-selector -g powersave" to /etc/rc.local (instead of powersave use your preferred governor) 2. reboot 3. watch governor be reset to ondemand about half a minute after login 4. change governor back to your preferred one again
