I also get this bug: If the mixer applet is set to "C-Media USB Headphone Set (Alsa Mixer)" mixer_applet2 goes to 100% CPU after resume. Nothing happens if it is set to PulseAudio Mixer of the same USB device or Alsa Mixer or PulseAudio Mixer of internal soundcard.
