Hello Seb I took the following instructions from https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution-data-server/+bug/357636 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi again, I've managed to download from packages.ubuntu.com the source code for the current jaunty version of libical. Compiled with CFLAGS=-g -O0 moved the generated libical, libicalss and libicalvcal to /usr/lib replaced each symbolic link to use the new build, and it worked! :) Can it be some issue with the library compilation? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Sebastien Bacher wrote on 2009-04-16: (permalink) I doubt of that, could be an optimization issue, the usual way to do a debug build is: - add a deb-src apt source - apt-source libical - sudo apt-get build-dep libical - cd libical-version - DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS="nostrip noopt" debuild ---------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm afraid in either case the instructions were beyond my level of experience. Perhaps if the instructions could be either simplified or more fully explained, then I could give them a go. Mick you might not want "noopt" if that workaround the issue On Sat, 2009-04-18 at 19:18 +0000, Sebastien Bacher wrote: > *** This bug is a duplicate of bug 357636 *** > https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/357636 > > the stacktrace is similar to bug #357636, could you try the change > suggested there? > > ** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 357636 > crashes when accepting meeting invitation > -- Evolution freezes when calendar is selected https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/362930 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
