I'm experiencing this bug using linux-backports-modules v2.6.28-11.12 on
the Jaunty release candidate, running iwlagn for an Intel Corporation
PRO/Wireless 4965 AG or AGN [Kedron] Network Connection (rev 61) card
connecting to a hidden 11N network with fluctuating signal strength. It
doesn't happen using the standard (non-backports) drivers (but the
standard drivers have other problems, such as crashing on system
shutdown).

network-manager does reconnect when it fails, which is great, but it is
extremely annoying that the network is disconnecting in the first place.
It does it randomly at intervals between one minute(?) and an hour.

I found this message talking about a simple hack in the mac80211 code to
stop the disconnects: http://www.gossamer-
threads.com/lists/linux/kernel/942194 - maybe it's the same thread Jeff
mentioned in
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/200500/comments/28.
