** Description changed: Using Kubuntu Jaunty x64, about half of the time you tell the computer to logout, shutdown, or reboot, KDE gets stuck on a black or white screen, as if it has logged out but not passed control back to KDM. There is no error message displayed, it just gets stuck. The only way to get around this bug is to drop to a text console, login, and execute the reboot or halt command manually. + + [lspci] + 00:00.0 Host bridge [0600]: Intel Corporation Mobile PM965/GM965/GL960 Memory Controller Hub [8086:2a00] (rev 0c) + Subsystem: Dell Device [1028:0228] + 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: nVidia Corporation GeForce 8600M GT [10de:0407] (rev a1) + Subsystem: Dell Device [1028:0228]
