** Description changed: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel Hi, I've been running Jaunty for a couple of weeks now and have had two X server crashes that look graphically similar; although the event triggering them was different. I've attached an Xorg.0.log.old from just after the 2nd crash and lspci etc The symptom is both heads go black with a set of horizontal dark blue irregular stripes on - and then a few seconds later I'm back at gdm. The first time this happened was when I started a hibernate (but other hibernates have been fine) and the 2nd case I just gone to a website with flash video on (but plenty of other flash video sites have worked fine and this one was fine when I went to it again). I can't see a backtrace in the log unfortunately. + + [lspci] + 00:00.0 Host bridge: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/PM/GMS, 943/940GML and 945GT Express Memory Controller Hub (rev 03) + Subsystem: Toshiba America Info Systems Device ff10 + 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS, 943/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03) + Subsystem: Toshiba America Info Systems Device ff10
