** Description changed: After installing Kubuntu 8.10 my T22 laptop fails to boot while on battery. It will pass the Kubuntu splash screen however afterwords it will only show a black screen. The laptop will boot just fine if plugged in and has full batter power and if I unplug it while it is booting it will also start just fine.
