** Description changed: There is no sound in Ubuntu or in any application after resuming the system from suspend. Before suspending the system, sound works normally in all applications and in Ubuntu. After resuming the system from suspend, there is no sound in Ubuntu or in any application. There is no sound when doing a test from the Sound Preferences window. Restarting the system fixes the problem. I am running Ubuntu 8.10 64-bit with all updates installed, using an Asus Xonar DX audio card on a Asus P5K SE motherboard with latest BIOS update.
