hi Leann, Thanks for your answer. Sorry for my late answer to your mail.
I am quite busy at the moment, so I have forgotten to update the bug report. I have now solved this issue by changing the wlan channel of my wireless router from about 9 to 1. After I did the change of the channel, everything worked fine with madwifi. I have recently installed the latest Jaunty 9.04 beta and everything worked fine out of the box. ( full speed etc. ) I can update the bug when I have some more free time. Let me know if there is anything that I can do. Thanks for your time Pascal 2009/3/30 Leann Ogasawara <leann.ogasaw...@canonical.com> > Hi Pascal, > > Sorry for such a delayed response to a bug you reported quite some time > ago :( Can you try a few things: > > 1) try installing linux-backports-modules-intrepid - it contains an > updated compat-wireless stack as of master-2009-03-04 > > 2) if that fails, can you confirm the issue remains on the latest pre- > release of Jaunty 9.04 - currently Beta - > http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/jaunty/beta > > 3) In Jaunty, linux-backports-modules-jaunty also provides an updated > compat-wireless stack as of master-2009-03-24.
