Public bug reported: In Kubuntu 9.04 64 bit I have changed in Display System settings monitor's refresh rate (I want to use higher refresh rate than default value). Then I run "nvidia-settings -q RefreshRate" command and I see 75.02 as refresh rate (which is what I want). But when I restart the computer and again run "nvidia-settings -q RefreshRate", the refresh rate is 60.02. In order to get higher refresh rate I have to go to System settings and click Display. Then monitor will blink and without changing anything in Display setting, I run "nvidia-settings -q RefreshRate" command and I again see 75.02.
So, the refresh rate is not kept between computer restarts or shutdowns. Clicking on Display icon (in Systems setting) will get the refresh rate that was set. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Kubuntu - refresh rate is not kept https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/366301 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
