Charlie, Sorry. had an extremely difficult and stressful day yesterday and am in the middle of changing some psyc meds. I know that is no excuse, but it was the proverbial straw that broke this camels back. I think death by firing squad would be appropriate for me. I will try a fresh install again and supply the logs you recommended. Perhaps I can help solve this bug issue for all 4 who have reported it(I know, mine was a rant, not a report but I will change that). I wouldn't blame you if you ban me from Launchpad. I am an idiot. I will, however, be back with a bug report . Please accept my apologies.
don -- After installing, there is no desktop.
