Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnupg
On ubuntu jaunty 32bit: For some reason gnupg uses a popup dialog to ask for passphrases, instead of using the command line. This means that things like debuild will also use popup dialogs when signing packages. This breaks lots of software and scripts that are reliant on it being able to pragmatically drive gpg and debuild. The default behaviour should be to use the cli. With an option for popup dialogs. This was not a problem in hardy or intrepid. ** Affects: gnupg (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- gpg uses popup dialog instead of cli by default https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/367163 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
