Thanks Wirechief. I already reverted back to Interpid's Intel 2.4's package on Jaunty, it didn't freeze but it was so slow~ I just installed xserver-xorg-video-intel-dbg 2:2.6.3-0ubuntu10~bug359392~1, I got the performance back and I'll report again if this works fine for me as well.
