re my previous remark.. I just found out that on my Jaunty test machine with the broadband mobile card, after the connection is made there is no default gateway. The correct default gw is set on my Intrepid machine. That is probably why my Jaunty machine cannot find any anything. I do not know if that is a problem of NetworkManager. I filed it as a separate bug (366711). Does anyone know where to set the default gateway in networkmanager ppp connections??
