Ubuntu.
Unfortunately, since the ucf post-installation script is a shell script
which doesn't make any extraordinary calls, I think this is a local
problem with your system, not a bug in this package - a belief that's
supported by the fact that you seem to have filed bugs against 11
packages for the same issue.
So I'm closing this bug as invalid; you may want to try to provide an
actual log in bug #366987, which is likely to be the root bug, since the
log file that was attached is empty.
