Kevin, please test in EXA mode. On the [8086:2a02] (rev 0c) setting AccelMethod to "UXA" acually fixes things, at the cost of a 25% performance penalty. Like Martin said, you should ideally test from a LiveCD or a fresh untouched install. If you can't be bothered to reinstall Ubuntu or run a LiveCD, at least test in EXA mode with Greedy Migration disabled.
