Same Problem here! My Notebook: Sony Vaio VGN-FS215B Kernel: generic
Setting cstate value to 2 solves the problem! Now i am using 386 kernel without problems. Does someone work on this? Yesterday I tried feisty herd2 => same "high cpu usage idle" problem, but setting cstate 2 doesn't solve this anymore!!! what can we still do that someone worries about this problem?
