Public bug reported: Ubuntu 9.04 Ext4 filesystem
Hi, when I try to mount a .iso image using the command line, (mount -o loop -t ext4 example.iso /destination) The mount fails and I get the following error message: "mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/loop0, missing codepage or helper program, or other error In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try dmesg | tail or so" The results of dmesg | tail: "[27349.544574] sdb: sdb1 [27349.545341] sd 8:0:0:0: [sdb] Attached SCSI removable disk [27349.545423] sd 8:0:0:0: Attached scsi generic sg2 type 0 [27402.647514] VFS: Can't find ext4 filesystem on dev loop0. This procedure works without a hitch in previous Ubuntu versions, unfortunately, ext4 seems to be the problem here. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Can't find ext4 filesystem on dev loop0 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/369030 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
