amSynth 1.2.1 was released on 2009-04-08, over 2 years since the previous release, with the following change log:
* fixed compilation errors on Linux/GCC-4.3.2 * fixed a buffer overflow crash, which prevented running on recent ubuntu versions I guess it was a bit late for Jaunty.
