This is confirmed, but basically a "wishlist" item.
X1300/X1600/X1800-cards are not supported because AMD / ATI has not
given out the needed information to support those, and no-one has been
able to reverse-engineer the needed things. Actually, one person _has_
written support for the cards, but is under NDA from AMD and has not
received a permission from AMD/ATI to publish the code. So it's all up
to AMD.

Meanwhile, people might be interested in supporting Intel, which has
completely open source graphics drivers for eg. its new GMA X3000
chipset.
