Hi, xkeyboard-config dropped the workaround of a kernel bug fixed in 2.6.18.3. Looks like jaunty kernel is not uptodate for fixing this bug. The bug is actually a kernel bug. See http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9095 .
