It looks like the problem has been resolved in the latest batch of
fixes. The fan now runs constantly and keeps things cool. I note in the
system log that their is now an entry specifically for the Armada 1700
series and MSFT that turns the fan on and it stays on.

Thanks to all that supported this effort. It allows me to load the
Ubuntu Distro without a shutdown because of overheat. It solves the
Chicken and Egg problem nicely.
