Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-app-install
After starting rhythmbox, it loads my music collection and finds that it does not have the necessary plugin to play some files. It then tries to download a suitable plugin. So far so good. The suitable plugin is however not found and after clicking 'cancel' the same window pops up again when rhythmbox stumbles upon the next file it cannot play. And again, and again.. I think some mechanism should be included to prevent this dialog from opening up more then once for a given type of music files ("audio/x-wma" in this case). I'm using jaunty. With gnome-app-install: 0.5.24-0ubuntu1 ** Affects: gnome-app-install (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- rhythmbox/gnome-app-install keeps searching for suitable plugin https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/371128 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
