hi ibex_rider, yes this there is a problem... you can downgrade to Xorg 1.5.2 on jaunty, just use these packages that i pointed to more up in this bug report http://www.davidfaure.fr/2009/xorg_debs.tar.bz2 Installing Xorg 1.5.2 fixes this..
