After upgrade to jaunty 9.04, openoffice doews not start anymore. My version of openoffice: 1:3.0.1-9ubuntu3 on AMD64 using the command: a) oowriter or oocalc it does not start at all, the startup is aborted after some time (about 1 minute) with the message: __fop_file_setup: Retry limit (100) exceeded with the comand b) soffice -writer it does start, but openoffice is frozen (can't write, can't access menus). the same error message "__fop_file_setup: Retry limit (100) exceeded" appear in the console. I have attempted a reinstallation using the commands: sudo apt-get remove --purge openoffice.org-base-core sudo apt-get remove --purge openoffice.org-core sudo apt-get remove --purge openoffice.org-common sudo apt-get install openoffice.org It did not help: I have the same problems as before ProblemType: Bug Architecture: amd64 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04 Package: openoffice.org 1:3.0.1-9ubuntu3 ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE= LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: openoffice.org Uname: Linux 2.6.28-11-generic x86_64 ** Affects: openoffice.org (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug -- openoffice does not start in Jaunty https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/371792 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
