Hello Sebastien, Here's what I attempted. I also tried another type of thumb drive with the same results. And yes, I did try a command line to view the contents via ls and the results were null. The thumb drives were mounted but not showing any content.
I was having some other minor issues and I wasn't overly happy with the new installation. So, I sanitized the disk and did a complete re-installation but this time I started from the live system rather than a straight installation. The problem with the thumb drives is gone. I'd like to say that I didn't do anything different but I've heard that too many times over my career from users. There had to be something but I can't figure it out in any manner what it might have been. Just out of curiosity I'm going to start all over once again and go back through the process that I did originally but starting the installation straight from the CD rather than the live system. Also, in both instances, I did go through the software updates and apply all outstanding updates. So that shouldn't be part of the original issue. I'll try to do the fresh installation before the end of the week and let you know the results. I've got to believe that there is something that I did that caused such an issue. larry m Sebastien Bacher wrote: > Thank you for your bug report, is the issue specific to nautilus?
