I'm using whatever flash version came with Jaunty. I'm also using compiz/fusion with the desktop cube, rotate cube turned on. Everything works fine in Kubuntu, so I assume it's an issue between flash and either compiz or pulseaudio or something.
However, I downloaded the latest flash 10 from the link you provided and that did indeed fix the issue!! THANK YOU! Hopefully this will fix logs of other flash related issues I've been seeing but couldn't reproduce consistently.
