Binary package hint: pulseaudio

Whenever I try playing more than one stream simultaneously (say
rhythmbox and a flash video on firefox) on my external sound card, the
sound gets very scratchy. This does not happen when I play simultaneous
streams on the computer's internal sound card, or my friend's external
sound card.
