Hi. Yes, I know that an application shouldn't crash something else - but only Totem manages to crash (or maybe better "freeze"?) my system.
There's nothing in /var/log/{messages,syslog}. I'll attach
/etc/X11/xorg.conf now and /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old (from the prev.
session, where Totem froze the system) in yet another reply.
