Public bug reported: Binary package hint: debian-installer
This was the error message I received when I tried to download "Xubuntu alternate i386" from this website--- http://mirror.anl.gov/pub/ubuntu- iso/CDs-Xubuntu/9.04/release/ -------------------------------------------- "C:\WINDOWS\Downloads\xubuntu-9.04-alternate-i386.iso.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read. Try again later, or contact the server administrator." -------------------------------------------- I expected it to download but it failed to do so for some reason. I don't know anything about this type of stuff. Someone who does know something sent me to the above site to download what he thought would fix some issues I've been having with my compaq presario 722. Feel free to send me any suggestions as to what I could do to successfully download the above.
