I have done quite some testing about this bug before coming hree. It occurs on my vostro 1510 with kernel 2.6.28-11 and not with the (still installed) 2.6.27-11. I have a 64 bit installation. I have found two working methods to reproduce the bug.
1. Have the machine run with inserted battery (here: no AC) 2.
