Same problem, except the wireless connection is never re-established automatically. In other words, in intervals between 5 and 20 minutes, I must reboot my AP (a Siemens Gigaset SX762 WLAN at 54Mbps) and manually go into NM to re-scan networks so that it finds the wifi connection again.
System: IBM Lenovo Thinkpad R61 Ubuntu 9.10 Jaunty. By the way, in Windows 7 the connection never falls.
