Binary package hint: kde
When opening dolphin or trying to use the open/save file option in kde
apps (kate, ksnapshot etc.) while in gnome, the app hangs for about
30-60s before opening dolphin/the dialog. This does not occur with gnome
apps.
This seems to appear close to the jaunty upgrade.
running dolphin from the terminal gives:

i tried removing the .kde directory under home, and logout-login, but that
didn't work.
i'll be happy to give additional debugging information.
