As a work around, I converted
kernel-firmware-2.6.29.1-1.rt4.1.fc10.ccrma.noarch.rpm for Fedora 10 to a deb
package with alien and installed. Seems to work great with my Jaunty
2.6.28-11-generic kernel.

My Keyspan USB serial adapter works perfectly now.

firmware-2.6.29.1-1.rt4.1.fc10.ccrma.noarch.rpm.html

It will probably break with the next kernel release, but it got me back
up and going for a little while again.
