I found a workaround for the problem described above (at least it works on my computer, too): https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/hal-info/+bug/217482
Make sure you have a recent /usr/share/hal/fdi/information/10freedesktop/20-video-quirk-pm- samsung.fdi (from hal-info package) installed. Use "radeonfb" kernel module instead of "vesafb": - add kernel boot option "video=radeonfb:mode_option=1024x768...@60" (resolution might differ of course) - add "radeonfb" entry in /etc/initramfs-tools/modules - run update-grub and update-initramfs - reboot -- Samsung P35 fails to resume after suspend to RAM https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/366156 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
