Hi. I've been having the same issues when connecting to multiple APs at my university. Wifi network with no encryption. I tried several network cards (Broadcom 4311 with the b43 driver and Atheros AR2425 with ath5k driver) and I get the same issues.
I attached a commented version of my /var/log/syslog that I captured using the capture instructions on the DebuggingNetworkManager page.
