I wouldn't know for sure. Others might have a better solution. However, if you wish to run soundconverter in superuser mode every time you click on the menu through Application > Sound & Video > Sound Converter, you could edit the menu. Right click on the panel where the Application Menu is, and click Edit Menus. Find Sound Converter, click Properties, and add "gksu" in the command.
