Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: aptitude

jaunty

I expect to install updates and new packages using aptitude or apt-get, but
this does not happen - I get an error.

ooolatex is broken. dpkg-reconfigure, remove, install do not work, even
with -f to force

also, my picasa, google desktop, and virtualbox seem to have
disappeared.

here is the code when I try to install virtualbox:

u...@home:/etc/apt$ sudo apt-get install virtualbox-2.2
