Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kdeplasma-addons
In the past, I used KDE4.2 in Debian GNU/Linux; however, it was kind of unstable. So, I have installed kubuntu recently after I decided to have a better KDE4 support. I could input Chinese with gcin Tsu-in input method in the notes plasmoid in Debian. But, when I try to input Chinese with the default input method (scim- bridge NewChewing) which comes with Chinese support of Ubuntu, KDE4 crashes and restart. As a result, I turned to gcin Tsu-in input method(which is not officially supported by ubuntu, here is the repo:deb http://debian.luna.com.tw/jaunty ./), but nothing was displayed after I type some characters and pressed "enter". ** Affects: kdeplasma-addons (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: chinese im kdepalsma-addons ** Description changed: Binary package hint: kdeplasma-addons In the past, I used KDE4.2 in Debian GNU/Linux; however, it was kind of unstable.
