Public bug reported: Binary package hint: update-manager-kde
Trying to upgrade to 9.04 from 8.04 (I think) and initially received a lot of unhelpful messages about broken packages but could not find any by a variety of means so resorted to removing packages that were being complained about in the dist-upgrade and main logs. Now I have a new problem in so far as I have a complaint "Can't install kbuntu-kde4-desktop" with a request to raise a bug report. I have read through the other bug reports and have not been able to resolve this problem by the means described in them. It appears that the install will proceed with problem remaining unresolved (will test this soon)? Please email me with requests for information as I have a bunch of log files from the various install (read upgrade) attempt iterations, seems a bit of a bandwidth waste to send them all. ** Affects: update-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Can't install kbuntu-kde4-desktop https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/378946 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
