Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: thunar

I've just reported the bug in the Xfce bugzilla.

In general, is it useful to also post bugs here when they are already
posted more directly to the developers?

Here's what I wrote in the Xfce bugzilla:

Not a real bug, rather a feature request...
I like seeing a lot of information on my screen, so why not introduce a smaller
minimum size for the (compact and detailed) list views?
In the new minimum size:
* the lines could be shifted closer together,
* the font could be switched to a smaller one,
* the icons could become even a little smaller,
* in compact list view, the columns could step a little closer.

In general, Thunar is superb: Just a lightweight, er... file manager! Stable,
without tons of things to slow it down. With this little improvement it would
defnitely beat them all.

There's an attachment that shows /half/ of my music list in Thunar (compact
list view, smallest size). Windows Explorer and Nautilus can show /all/ of it
on the very same display (1400x1050).
