I am able to switch between my and flashydaves problem by turning on and off HTML encoding when sending. I get my kind of problem (i.e. stuck in outbox) when HTML encoding is disabled and flashydaves problem when HTML encoding is enabled. I can not test sending to external recipients. Furtermore, I am unable to change character encoding when HTML formatting is turned off.
