using the terminal: #cd /home/user/.local/share/Trash/info/ #rm file names I was able to get rid of everything in my trash, but 1 file would still display in the nautilus trash:///. I used the 'empty trash' button which deleted the lone file and froze my computer right after. On restart trash is emptied and I am able to use the trash like normal. I'm not sure what was wrong with that one file, I had read/write permissions and everything.
