I am using v1.1.0 on Edgy Eft (6.10), and see similar behavior when connecting to MySQL on localhost.
If 'Catalogs' is the first thing I click that mysql-adnin crashes nearly every time. If I click something else first, I reduce the incidence to once every other time or perhaps one time out of three.
