I continued with the reject and stucked! What I did: shut down, attach the MF636, boot, ZTEMODEM drive shown to desktop, wait around 1 minute, eject ZTEMODEM, wait till the wizard started, setup the new Connection, wizard finished, open a terminal window, dmesg > dmesg_g12.txt every 5-6 seconds till the complete freeze of the system.
