Hi Vivichrist, I'm back online again and can confirm that my second attempt building the kernel was a succes! I'm running the Ubuntu Studio RT patched generic kernel and realtime behaviour is ok, and don't see any problems.
The kernel I have spinning as we speak is : 2.6.29.4-rt15-all- nvk-052509-1 My offer to provide anyone with installation files is still open (see previous messages) but send me a mail first : realtime.dutchman<at>gmail.com I hope there is someone out there who wants to test the files. As far as I'm concerned and able to judge the situation, we have solved the kernel problem. Thanks and talk to you later.
