As I reported in http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=341532 the crash exists in 20070120 amd64 desktop (as a VM guest).
In previous daily builds installing the available distribution updates permanently removed this particular crash, on subsequent reboots. The crash notification says "Sorry, Add/Remove... closed unexpectedly". The generated crash report is very similar to bug #79619 (same crash when adding/removing programs on Feisty).
